This course teaches you everything you need, to travel save in alpine rock terrain. Belaying, abseiling, multi pitch routs, orientation, planing your rout and much more is on your program. After the course you are able to climb easy alpine rock routs, even if they are a bit longer.
We are based on the Stripsenjoch house, in the Wilder Kaiser Range, north of Kitzbühel. The Wilder Kaiser is a traditional rock climbing area with big history. The first official grade VII was climbed on the Fleischbank by Reinhard Karl.
Program for the week
You learn the knots, rope management, belaying on rock, abseiling, orientation, tour planing and much more. The training areas are very close to the hut. 10 minutes walk to the rock climbing spot, 30 minutes to the closest tours.
